Hi Damien2018 – the courts request payment of the court fees at the point of processing your divorce petition. It usually takes around 10 days from sending the documents to the court before they request payment. A quick tip from us – it’s always worth checking if you may be exempt/eligible for a discount on the court fee to get divorced (£550 in England and Wales). You can check this here.
