My STBX is refusing to disclose the pension value. It’s a 17 year teachers pension. Current salary £30k per year. Does anyone have a rough estimation on its worth?

Hi Marie, thanks for getting in touch. You can't roughly estimate a pension – it is an actuarial calculation that must be provided by teachers pensions company. If your ex refuses then you can ask a judge to order the disclosure and that means filling in a 47-page document with all your financial information. It's better if he discloses voluntarily to save the potential cost and hassle… you can ask the judge for a costs order if he has been obstructive.
